Bayer Ballet dancer, Alina Taratorin is one of four young talented dancers selected on July 13, 2019 to participate in the Prix de Lausanne Competition in 2020.
A message from Bayer Ballet's Artistic Director, Inna Bayer:
I want to share with you some wonderful news about a dancer, who has been with me for 12 years, since the age of 5. I feel this announcement deserves a wider audience, as an inspiring example of dedication and achievement:
One of the students of Bayer Ballet, Alina Taratorin accomplished a very important milestone: upon completion of the summer intensive at Prix de Lausanne Pre-Selection, she was selected to participate in one of the most prestigious ballet competitions, Prix de Lausanne. This is one of the greatest privileges in the career of a young dancer and aspiring professional dancer.
As her mentor, I have watched Alina overcome challenges with grace and determination, developing a work ethic and discipline, required by the art form, which has also positively influenced her academic career. I am absolutely certain that she will succeed.
I am very grateful to the intensive teaching staff and to the Prix de Lausanne organization for this wonderful opportunity. Way to go, Alina. If you follow your passion, nothing will stand in your way.
