This specialized training program is designed for dedicated dancers eager to pursue a more rigorous course of study that further develops technique and artistry.

Personalized to each dancer, the program helps students define realistic goals, track their progress, and receive the guidance and resources needed to prepare for competitions, auditions, and a professional career.

Selection by audition.

Not feeling challenged in mainstream classes? Looking for more individualized training to help you grow? Do you feel capable of more and interested in pursuing dance at a higher level or considering a professional career?

This program is specifically designed for serious female and male dancers ages 12–18 who are disciplined, eager to work hard, open to critique, and passionate about dance.

VIDEO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

>> Complete the application form above

>> Short Introduction including: name, age, number of years of dance education, number of years of pointe work (if applicable), and name of your current school and teacher(s).

>> Barre and center exercises: plié, battement tendu, adagio, pirouettes, petit, medium, and grand allegro, tours en l'air for men, and pointe work for women. A classical ballet variation on pointe is optional.

Bayer Ballet’s Day Program was established in 2022. Since its inception, students in the program have been accepted into prestigious institutions and training programs, including ABT JKO, San Francisco Ballet School, Académie Princesse Grace, and John Cranko Schule, among others.

Program participants have also earned top honors at major ballet competitions and scholarship programs, including the Grand Prix, Youth Grand Prix, and Hope Award at Youth America Grand Prix; the Natalia Makarova Award for Artistry; the Shelley King Award for Excellence; top awards at California Dance Classics; Prix de Lausanne Candidate, Finalist, and Prize Winner distinctions; and YoungArts Winner with Distinction recognition.

The program is divided by age and level of experience to ensure proper advancement. Groups will not exceed 8 students... 

  • Group 1: 9–13 years 

  • Group 2: 14–18 years

GROUP 1 > AGES 9-13

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

  • 10:00am -12:00pm: Ballet Technique

  • 12:00 - 2:00pm: Variations/Repertoire 

  • Private Lessons (scheduled by appointment, not included in tuition)

  • 7:00 - 8:00pm: Repertoire (Mon/Fri)

  • 7:30 - 8:30pm: Repertoire  (Tues)

Wednesday

  • 10:00am  - 12:00pm: Ballet Technique

  • 12:00 - 1:00pm: Ballet Conditioning/Cross Training 

  • 1:00 - 2:30pm: Variations/Repertoire 

  • Private Lessons (scheduled by appointment, not included in tuition)

  • 7:00 - 8:00pm: Contemporary

Saturday 

  • 12:00 - 1:00pm: Stretching 

  • 1:00 - 2:30pm: Ballet Technique 

  • 2:30 -3:30pm: Character ​

GROUP 2 > AGES 13-18

tuition & scholarships

This rate covers the Bayer Ballet Academy Academic Year and does not include tuition for the summer intensive programs or private lessons.

 

Group 1:  $14,350 (29 hours per week)

Group 2:  $14,350 (29 hours, 45 minutes per week)

Talent-based scholarships are available. Please complete the application above and email us if you are interested in applying for a scholarship.
