male Junior & Youth Programs
Ages 6–18
Bayer Ballet's Male Program provides specialized classical ballet education for boys of all ages and levels. Rooted in the Vaganova method, the curriculum is designed to address the distinct technical, athletic, and artistic demands of male classical ballet while providing a comprehensive foundation for long-term development.
Students receive focused instruction in strength, coordination, musicality, artistry, and the specialized technique required for the male classical repertoire. Whether beginning ballet or preparing for advanced study, dancers progress through a structured curriculum that develops confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for the art form.
* Audition is required, and placement will be determined based on age and level

Anton Lukovkin
A graduate of the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy, former Coryphée with the Mariinsky Ballet, former Soloist with English National Ballet, and former Principal Ballet Master at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
Mr. Anton Lukovkin brings more than two decades of international professional experience as a dancer, ballet master, and educator. A graduate of the renowned Vaganova Ballet Academy, he performed with the Mariinsky Ballet and English National Ballet before serving as Principal Ballet Master and full-time faculty member at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. His extensive experience in performance, pedagogy, and coaching provides students with exceptional training grounded in the Vaganova tradition.
Professional Career
English National Ballet (2007–2016) — Soloist
Major repertoire included Albrecht (Giselle), Mercutio (Romeo and Juliet),
the Nutcracker Prince (The Nutcracker), Petrushka, and Faun (L'Après-midi d'un Faune).
Recipient of the English National Ballet People's Choice Award (2011).
Mariinsky (Kirov) Ballet (1999–2007) — Coryphée
Major repertoire included Jester (Swan Lake), Steptext (William Forsythe), Peasant Pas de Deux (Giselle), Nutcracker Doll (The Nutcracker), and Spring (Cinderella).
Nominated for Best Male Dancer at the Benois de la Danse (Moscow, 2004).

Experience
Male dancers have opportunities to perform leading roles in Bayer Ballet's professionally staged productions, including The Snow Queen, and to participate in solo, ensemble, and featured repertoire. Dedicated pas de deux classes prepare students for the technical and artistic demands of partnering, and competition opportunities are available for students who wish to participate.
