Bayer Ballet's Summer Intensive brings together serious dancers dedicated to refining their technique and deepening their artistry. An artfully rigorous curriculum, rooted in the purest form of Vaganova training, is delivered by an internationally acclaimed faculty and designed to elevate each dancer to the next stage of artistic growth.

The 6-week intensive will consist of levels. Students will be assigned according to age & ability in small group sizes to ensure correct level advancement:

VIDEO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (6-WEEK SI)
>> Complete the application form below
>> Short Introduction including name, age, number of years of dance education, number of years of pointe work (if applicable), and name of your current school and teacher(s).
>> Barre and center exercises: plié, battement tendu, adagio, pirouettes, petit, medium, and grand allegro, tours en l'air for men, and pointe work for women. A classical ballet variation on pointe is optional.

"The Class Concert," a work is based on the graduation performance of the Vaganova Russian Ballet Academy, School of Classical Ballet. In this piece, dancers, of various ages and stages of their training, demonstrate the progression across various levels within the Vaganova System.
