CONGRATULATIONS
…to all of our wonderful dancers, following a weekend of amazing performances of Springtime Fairy Tale. Thank you for your dedication, as we prepared for the performance. Making art requires trust and we are grateful to you for entrusting us on this journey. We are completely dedicated to giving you our best and it was reciprocated. We made art!
THANK YOU!
We are grateful for our Pre-Ballet Division Director, Christina Kongaika; Pre-Ballet Teachers, Dawn Sue, Juliet Sostena, Maya Ma, Sydney Strong; Boys Program teacher, Arsen Serobian; and teacher's assistants, who successfully prepared the dancers for the performance.
“The glue,” our administration team, Heather Perez (marketing), Jackie Capozzi, Lisa So, Qing (Anita) Wang, and Rimma Bobkova, led by Executive Director, Christine Wood, which hold the studio and productions together.
The patrons, who filled every seat of the MVCPA; it was our greatest pleasure to share our love for this artform with you. We had two nearly SOLD OUT performances.
And the final bow goes to the parents and volunteers, who support the dancers’ dreams. Without you, the magic and the magnitude of this production wouldn’t be possible.
TANGIBLE GROWTH!
15 years ago, Bayer Ballet’s Artistic Director, Inna Bayer was inspired to create a story ballet for her first students of the Academy. The earliest version of this ballet was performed in the winter and was called “Winter Fairytale.” “My vision for this ballet was to create a whimsical libretto for these young dancers to learn the art of storytelling and performance, while demonstrating technical foundations of pre-ballet.”
The art of performance is an important element to our training program; therefore, we provide all of our students from Pre-Ballet through Pre-Professional professionally-produced performance opportunities. Students gain an authentic production experience, performing in beautiful theatres, such as Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. In addition, we provide additional rehearsals in the theatre and hire independent production teams (lighting design, sound, backstage and deck crew) to increase the production value of our performances.
Springtime Fairy Tale is a tangible demonstration of the students’ growth, as humans and artists. The training and rehearsal process teaches teamwork, responsibility, discipline, and personal accountability, while building strong work ethics and confidence.
Bayer Ballet’s faculty members are honored to be part of these young dancers’ journeys, as they learn about themselves, define their character and discover their artistic voices.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR PRE-BALLET DIVISION
