Inspired by one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved fairytales, Bayer Ballet is proud to present another production of The Snow Queen that will warm your hearts and add magic to this holiday season! Visually captivating and viscerally touching, this story ballet celebrates friendship, love and courage.

When the Snow Queen's spell captures a young boy, his sister, Gerda sets out on a quest to save him. Follow Gerda's icy journey as her heart leads her through the deep waters of a magical river, an enchanted flower garden, a spectacular palace, a forest filled with robbers, and the gleaming world of snow and ice that surrounds the Snow Queen's ice castle.

This performance is 2 1/2 hours long with one 15 minute intermission and is appropriate for ages 3 and above. Anyone under the age of 3 years will not be allowed into the auditorium.

A private benefit performance will also be held on Saturday, December 14; please submit an inquiry to info@bayerballetacademy.com for further details.
