Celebrate World Ballet Day With Us

On World Ballet Day, we celebrate the teachers, students, and supporters who keep the art of ballet alive. Dear students, who are working diligently from their homes or are back in studio, we recognize you for your perseverance. The process is slow and steady. The intricacies of the art of the Vaganova method are complex. Teachers, thank you for your patience and attention to detail, your passion for unwavering excellence, and doing it “one more time,” (over and over again) to ensure the dancers are processing in a healthy, sustainable way. Parents, spectators, sponsors, and supporters, your support is needed now more than ever to ensure the arts survive. Professional dancers, Choreographers, and Artistic Directors, we eagerly await the day we can see your work, in-person, on stage. Your role of inspiring future generations of dancers to continue following their dreams, is so meaningful right now. Together, Inna Bayer Artistic Director Bayer Ballet Vaganova Center of Excellence

CELEBRATE STUDENTS

PRE-PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS

Bayer Ballet Pre-Professional Examinations, 2020. With the shelter in place restrictions this year, we held our examinations via Zoom. This presented obvious challenges and some interesting opportunities. The silver lining is the access to master Vaganova teachers we’ve been able to provide since day one of shelter in place. This accessibility has given our dancers a unique opportunity to engage in a very personalized way with their teachers. We are very proud of our dancers, their families, and our teachers for adapting to this new environment. As it pertains to the examinations, we were able to expand our adjudication panel to include jurors from internationally-renowned ballet companies and academies. We would like to thank them for participating in the process.
